Volunteer with Us
Volunteers are essential to the success of our mission of rehabilitating and re-homing
as many Off The Track Thoroughbreds as we can on an annual basis.
If you love horses and want to learn more, we would love to work with you!
What Does Volunteering with us Look Like?
Barn and paddock chores are completed in two shifts per day, seven days a week, including holidays.
8:30am - 10:30am
4pm - 6pm
We also have other volunteer opportunities that are more flexible including facility maintenance, landscaping, and fundraising events.
Join Us for Orientation
We hold a new volunteer orientation and information session on the 2nd Saturday of every month beginning at 10am. We ask kindly for a $20 donation when attending a new volunteer orientation to help support the care and needs of our horses.
During orientation, you will get to meet our horses, tour our farm, and get familiar with the barn chores that need to be completed on a daily basis.
We will be happy to answer any questions that you have!
Once you have completed a volunteer orientation and would like to continue volunteering, you will work with experienced volunteers to help you learn safe and proper methods to complete the barn chores and being around horses. Your equine education continues as you practice these skills and gain more experience around the barn.
If you are interested in volunteering at Equestrian Inc.,
please submit this form:
Once you have submitted the form above, please print and fill out our Volunteer Waiver and bring it with you to your new volunteer orientation. We will have blank copies of the waiver available at orientation if you are not able to complete the form beforehand.

Safety First
The safety of our guests and our horses is very important to us.
That's why we ask that if you come for a visit or orientation, please wear clothing and shoes that are appropriate for our environment.
The barn is outdoors and does not have air conditioning.
No matter your best intentions, please be prepared to get dirty.
No flip-flops or open toe shoes are permitted.
Sun protection and bug spray is always a good idea.
Bring lots of water, especially in the summer!
Do not bring any food or snacks for the horses.
We will provide snacks that you can feed the horses that fit within their dietary needs.
