Age: Foaled May 2007
Missy’s sire was Marquerty, who earned almost three million dollars during his racing career. This Ohio bred mare had twenty career starts from various tracks all over the country; her last race was at Tampa Bay Downs on 2/18/2012. Missy was pulled from a potentially life-threatening situation on 3/6/18. She is now in the rehabilitation process and will soon be ready for adoption.
She is current on vaccinations, farrier care, dental care, and is also microchipped. She has an old fracture on her left knee that we discovered through X-rays. She’s 100% sound and would be best suitable as a trail riding partner for an experienced rider. Missy is very sweet and easy to work with. She gets along well with both geldings and mares; however, she does lack confidence in the herd setting and would do best with a more passive pasture mate.
