Breed: Thoroughbred
Foaled: April 24, 2013
Color: Bay
Height: 16.2 hands

Fuji came to Equestrian Inc in May 2020 due to a suspensory issue on his front right leg. His ultrasound revealed desmitis to the branch. While never unsound during his time with us, we have done several therapeutic treatments such as polutice, linament gels, and keeping his legs wrapped when stalled. He gets along well with horses turned out although he prefers mares. One of his best friends is our miniature donkey!

Fuji was foaled in Pennsylvania and sold for a combined amount of $290,000 during his yearling year at the Keeneland and Fasig Tipton Kentucky Sales.

Once his rehabilitation is complete, he will be looking for a flatwork only home. He will require an experienced, patient person as he does have some quirks. He is still a tad head shy when brushing his forelock/ear region and he likes to chew on his lead rope or towel while wiping him down. He prefers to not have someone in or near his stall while he is eating as he gives us some glares.  He has made monumental progress since arriving and we continue to make positive outcomes each day.
